Helping in Tanzania.

What a joy and privilege it was to go to the Maasai village and  help these dear ladies.

They were so hospitable.

We had Q and A  time!

We worked and laughed and danced.

I hope they know how much I enjoyed their company.

I hope they know Jesus loves them. They seemed to understand he did.

They spoke three languages. I did well to communicate in English!

I learned love can be spoken in any language.

About Painted Hammers and Fried Okra

I hand- paint wooden hammers and have them in most states in the USA. They are very popular as gifts. I have one in the museum of hammers in Alaska. I live on a farm and raise a vegetable garden. Being in the mid western part of the US my family likes fried vegetables, especially fried okra. That is how this blog got the unique name it has.
